Here’s a look at my Biggest Loser team working out a Pro-Aggressive Fitness on Donald St. Word!
I had a couple of e-mails and conversations with people about sticking to the Biggest Loser plan when it comes to exercise and travel. As in, they’re worried about falling off the wagon so to speak. Here’s what I know. Going on vacation can actually make working out easier, for several reasons.
1) You probably don’t have to get up super early on vacation. Use that extra sleep to get more out of your workouts.
2) If you’re on vacation, there is no better way to see your surroundings than by foot or bicycle. The first thing I do when I land in a different city or place is check into my hotel and go for a run. Every time. I see and experience more on vacation this way than any other. Rent a bike for the duration of your vacation and you’ll see more than you would ever have thought possible and get in shape doing so.
3) Ever use the facilities in your hotel? Most people don’t, but hotel gyms are usually awesome. They’re clean, private, generally well-equipped, and you’ve already paid for it.
4) Beach workouts are wicked fun. Make a little program, and do it a couple of times a day on the beach. You don’t know the other people on the beach, so don’t worry what they think.
5) Just because it’s all-inclusive, doesn’t mean you have to include everything. You wouldn’t eat two plates from a buffet three times a day if you were at home, so you don’t have to there either. In fact, the all-inclusive buffet can actually, once again, make this easier. At home you don’t have someone slicing fresh fruit and vegetables for you a few times a day and preparing salads with dressing on the side. On vacation people do that for you. They’re trying to help you! Good luck. Enjoy your travels.

Our team has now added a new diet to partner with the already awesome workouts at Pro(Ag)gressive Fitness. Now it’s on!!! It’s 5 o’clock. I have a hockey game at 8. I could watch the news. I could sit on the computer. Or I could embrace the fact it’s only -13 and go run 5k and be nice and warmed up for my game. I shall choose to run. Peace out. I’m Running Free. Born to [...]
